THE BLACK BLUES BROTHERS
ACROBATICS, MUSIC AND ENERGY
With a world tour of more than 900 dates and 600,000 spectators, The Black Blues Brothers has established itself as a must-see international show, with numerous sold-out performances, standing ovations, and four- and five-star reviews. It was showcased three times to great acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world's most important theatre festival, where it was chosen as the best physical theatre show by Theatre Weekly magazine.
This production has wowed audiences in 20 countries, including Australia, Austria, Bahrein, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary.
At the Adelaide Fringe Festival, it was named the best acrobatic show by The Advertiser.
In an elegant Cotton Club-style lounge bar, a cleaner is chasing his dream of becoming one of the Blues Brothers, when two characters, dressed in the iconic suits of John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, show up offering him a chance to make his dreams come true, helped by them and his two colleagues. Following the whims of an extravagant vintage radio, playing Rhythm'n'Blues music, the barman and the whole staff transform into performers doing balancing acts, waving flags, jumping and acrobatics with fire. The stage brims with flawless bodies flying through the air performing tricky stunts with a smile always on their faces, using everything around them: every object (chairs, tables, hangers, vases and even mirrors) becomes a tool for breath-taking acrobatics and the constant involvement of the audience. If the Blues Brothers were a band trying to put itself back together again, the Black Blues Brothers are an acrobatic group that reforms every night on stage, giving life to a party full of dazzling moments set to the sweeping sounds of the cult movie soundtrack, one of the greatest pop legends of our times: human pyramids, limbo with fire, jumping with the rope and in the hoops, hilarious gags, funny stripteases, amusing dance challenges and much more.

The tremendous success earned the acrobats an invitation to the world's leading circus event, the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, where they received two special prizes, and to the Moulin Rouge, the historical temple of live entertainment.
Audiences and hosts of numerous TV programs, such as the French Le plus grand cabaret du Monde (which for years has set the highest quality standards in physical performance, through its stellar cast) and Tú Sí Que Vales Italia were left speechless by their performance.
Among the hundreds of thousands of people who enjoyed the show, there are some special spectators such as Pope Francis, who personally congratulated them two times (one during the Jubilee of the World of Travelling Shows and one during a Papal audience whose images with the act of the acrobats were broadcast throughout the world), Prince Albert and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and the British Royal Family, who they performed for during the Royal Variety Performance, a historic TV program that has hosted the biggest names in dance, theatre and circus since 1912 (including the Beatles, Elton John, Rudolf Nureyev, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy). The Black Blues Brothers were among the most popular guests at the event, in an evening that featured famous stars of live entertainment, introduced by King Charles III, who praised the tremendous talent of the artists.
